So, adventure #1. First of all, I want to apologize to my mother, my grandmother, and Mama McTigue (the only people that I think actually read this) for not updating. In an attempt to relive the events that took place.
So it was 4am. I couldn’t really sleep, so I figured I’d get out of bed and drive to Maine. I’m not sure really why, but I just…did. I popped on the computer to update my Ipod, and I saw that Sarah was still awake. I asked her if she wanted to go on a ride, and she said yes, so off we went.
We took off towards the north. I was racing to beat the sun because I wanted to do a time lapse of the sunrise. After going through Sarah’s old stomping ground, I speeded towards the shore and made it just as the sun was making its way over the ocean. I think that was the first time I’d ever really watched the sun rise on the east coast.
We took off north and actually made it to Portland, Maine. It was early and I realized that, well, I WAS IN MAINE. I SHOULD DO SOMETHING! Mama McTeague recommended that we go to the House Light, which was absolutely beautiful. We went, we saw, we conquored.
Finally, Sarah and I headed over to Free Range Fish and Lobster, and got some lobster. We headed back, exhausted.
So, embarassing, but. Heres a story.
When I was a little boy, my family took a trip to Maine. At it’s end, we all went for a lobster dinner. We went on to the restaurant and I went to the tank, and looked at all the lobsters. I kind of made friends with one of them
Then they cooked it.
I cried.
Yea, that’s pretty much the end of the story. I mention it because as I was driving home, we pulled over to take a nap. As I started to drift off, I heard the lobsters moving around. It was bad. I had to drive.
We made it to Sarah’s, and took a long nap. When we woke up, there was an incredible lobster dinner ready for us! incredible. So, thus we had dinner. Video to be posted soon.
Keep on reading, when I post that is.
