Behind the Camera Again
Well, It’s been a pretty exciting week for me. I’ve been going to the gym a lot and just trying to get myself back to a place where I am compeitive.
Kru John held pads for me last night. I guess its not a huge deal, but for me, just looking at it, its something that he has never done before. I’ve worked bag with him, but never before has he actually held pads. He told me that my power had increased by a lot and that my form was looking a ton better. Coming from the beginning of this journey where I could barely throw a kick well to being worked on by Kru John is quite an accomplishment for me. It makes me want to just work harder and harder.
I started more work on a new documentary. OPEN is a bike shop, but not at all. It has an art gallery, and builds custom bikes, and people can come in and do their own work. It has a couch! What bike store has a couch? ONLY ONE! That’s whats incredible about this place. Josh, one of the owners, explained that it’s a cultural hub, designed to be a place where ideas can come together. It’s a total biking experience.
Exciting times to say the least. Saturday I’ll be working security at the Boston Roller Derby bout, then Sunday morning I’m off to Fiesta Training! I think that I’ll try to upload a video by monday, bring my camera and all that mess. This should be a blast. We’re getting the cars on Monday, and Sunday I get to hang out with Matt McGorry. I’m excited to say the very least.
Keep on reading!
